How to get what you want out of life

The importance of Affirmation Wording

Your mind is a marvellous intricate and powerful part of you.  Your mind when focussed and treated gently…can help you achieve almost anything in life that you wish to place your attention on.

Where is your attention? What you are paying attention too; whether negative or positive will show up in your reality…that is why deliberate focus though goals and intentions, gives you the creative edge.

Your mind is just like a computer; it is programmed with data and can be reprogrammed…through affirmations.

Affirmations also highlight our internal dialogue that is contradictory to your goal.

For  example: If you have stated, 'I am Rich' and your experience is of being poor, this will create conflict in your mind. (Your mind will disagree strongly with your affirmation and your will feel uncomfortable in your body)

The GOLDEN principal: Your must lead yourself to new beliefs gently and with persistence.

Apply patience and nurturing rather than hate and frustration towards the old belief.

Using words like: 'I am willing...', I am open to...', 'I am becoming....', 'I let go of....', in front of affirmation statements will help the mind, to not be so confronted by the perceived difference between current reality and the statement.

  • I am willing to be wealthy
  • I am willing to like myself even though I suspect others don't
  • Regardless of what others think, I can choose my own thoughts
  • I am willing to be fit and healthy
  • I am becoming thinner
  • My confidence is getting stronger
  • I am open to seeing myself differently
  • I am open to loving myself more
  • I let go of thoughts of scarcity & poverty
